1972年、日本の環境大臣提案により国連で採択された「6月５日世界環境デー」。半世紀を経てなお、地球の未来を象徴する日であり続けています。日本は、1993年の環境基本法で「環境の日」と定めています。
本祭の「第一回開催日」がこの日と重なったのは、単なる偶然ではありません。ONE BLUE!の志が共鳴した証しです。 SDGsが受動的な義務であった時代は今、終わります。
この6月5日・6日は、SDGs「環喜（かんき）」新時代が動き出す日、宿命に導かれた約束の2日間です。本祭は「人類が再び、地球と契約をするNew BLUE/新地球誕生への儀式」です。

Why Lake Towada?
Lake Towada is a caldera lake formed by a volcanic eruption approximately 15,000 years ago.
It is a testament to destruction and rebirth —a place where the Earth, through its own power, transformed a desolate land into a miraculously beautiful landscape.
Declaring the "creation of a new Earth" on the shores of Lake Towada is not merely symbolic.
Witnessing the Earth's "regenerative power" firsthand, humanity forges a new contract with the planet.
The reason why this festival must be held here is etched into the very earth itself.
From Tohoku to the world. From Lake Towada to outer space .
"The Earth did not give up. Neither shall we."

We shouldn't just be witnesses to the birth of a new Earth and leave it at that.
