You are not coming to Lake Towada as an audience. You are invited as a Witness — a witness to this planet, to its water, to life itself, and to the cosmos: AETHER.

The water of Lake Towada has been polished by 4.6 billion years of the Earth.

The night sky reflected on its surface is light poured out across 13.8 billion years of the universe. In a single drop of the water you drink, the entire history of the cosmos is dissolved.

 

"The universe — AETHER — has not given up on the Earth!"

The passion you hold within — your B.L.U.E. — alone has the power to break through: to turn the SDGs from passive to active, from a task into a passion.

Turn that power into a BATON, and bring it to Lake Towada together with the batons of your companions.

 

"The batons of passion from all over the world will cross at Lake Towada."

Their ripples will resonate to the farthest edge of the galaxy, and become a miraculous light that sets the SDGs flowing in a cycle once more!

 

On that night — when the passions of the performers and your own passion cross, and the whole gathering trembles — we will send "the World Environment Day Toast" from Lake Towada out to the world.

 

Your name will be written forever into the cosmos, in the record of those who stood to save the Earth.
